speaker Sheila Dail, a US Airways Flight Attendant and crew member onboard US 1549 on January 15, 2009, the flight that has been called the "Miracle on the Hudson". Sheila will discuss the incident, the aftermath, and offer some personal advise on what you can do as a traveler to better prepare for emergencies when traveling by air.

Thank you to Katie Parks and the staff of the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel for hosting the July 21st VBTA meeting! After a great meeting, we boarded the Spirit of Norfolk for a dinner cruise. Our attendance was terrific, and the Board of Directors will plan a 2011 meeting in the Tidewater area!
